Northampton & Southampton ROOFING, SIDING, AND WINDOWS
Northampton Township, originally a farming community, now has nearly 40,000 residents. Officially a township since 1722, Northampton was composed of Jacksonville, Richboro, Addisville, Churchville, and Rocksville. Today, Jacksonville is considered Ivyland, Addisville is Richboro, and Rocksville is Holland. Although the origin of the name of the Township has never been officially verified, it is believed to have stemmed from the County of Northampton in the English midlands-one hundred miles north of London. Highlights of Northampton include its free library, senior center, nature center, golf courses, athletic fields, and shopping centers.
Southampton is an unincorporated community, consisting of Upper and Lower Southampton, with borders stretching from Bensalem to Richboro. The community received its namesake from Southampton, England, the seaport from which adventurous followers of William Penn sailed to the Province of Pennsylvania, and has been recognized as a community since 1685. Tradesmen and craftsmen began opening shops in the late 1800s along Second Street Pike, and residents began commuting into Philadelphia. Today, Second Street Pike still serves as a commercial hub for the community.
Residents and businesses of Southampton have been trusting Munz Construction with remodel efforts since our beginnings in 1983.
